We are recruiting: horticulturist (Kano State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Minjibir, Kano State. You will be based in a botanical garden. Day-to-day duties: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
