Groundsman — Powell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundsman in Powell County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage The role involves: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
