Immediate opening: crane operator (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Wright County, Iowa. You will work on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams.
