Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Alpine County, California. The role involves work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels. Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence 2+ years on the tools preferred.
