You should bring proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges; safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery. The role involves: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance 4+ years on the tools preferred.
