Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Walla Walla County, Washington. The role involves: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Own basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
