GTAW welder • Sapele, Delta State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Sapele, Delta State. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Full-time with occasional weekends.
