Hydraulic press operator — Oju

You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading On a typical shift you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components.
