Gantry crane operator wanted in Ojo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Ojo, Lagos State. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
