Slinger signaller — Boki

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Boki, Cross River State. On a typical shift you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
