The role involves: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • 2+ years' experience as a baker Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
