Tile setter • Bassa, Kogi State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile setter in Bassa, Kogi State. Day to day you will make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level. Requirements: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
