Immediate opening: pastry baker (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Ogle County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
