We are recruiting: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Schoolcraft County, Michigan. The role involves mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 3+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
