You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On a typical shift you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
