Lift mechanic — Ukhrul

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Ukhrul, Manipur. The job is at a busy lift company. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Full-time with occasional weekends.
