Retail butcher • Okene, Kogi State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Okene, Kogi State. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required You will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; season and marinate meat on request; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
