Render and set plasterer • Macomb County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Macomb County, Michigan. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. On a typical shift you will skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets. You should have: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Six days a week, one day off.
