On the job you will handle: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
