Wood machinist wanted in Dane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Dane County, Wisconsin. On a typical shift you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Good eye for detail and a clean finish 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
