Vacancy available: we are hiring a waiter in Sumner County, Tennessee. You will be based at a banquet hall. What we are looking for: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner Day to day you will upsell starters, desserts and beverages; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
