Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Day-to-day duties: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
