Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Nguru, Yobe State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
