Abattoir worker wanted in Shelby County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Shelby County, Texas. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required You will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
