Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Eureka County, Nevada. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Day-to-day duties: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels Part-time with flexible hours.
