Plant operator (dozer) — Stearns County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Stearns County, Minnesota. You will be based at a land-clearing site. What we are looking for: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Your main tasks: • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels Rotating shifts.
