Heavy equipment operator wanted in Blount County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Blount County, Tennessee. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. On the job you will handle: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites 4+ years on the tools preferred.
