Gantry crane operator • Brown County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Brown County, Illinois. Day to day you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
