Formwork carpenter — Muya

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Muya, Niger State. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Day to day you will apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
