Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Champaign County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Part-time with flexible hours.
