Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience The role involves: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
