Lifting rigger wanted in Comanche County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Comanche County, Texas. You will work at a container port. You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
