Vacancy available: we are hiring a power press operator in Patrick County, Virginia. You will be based at an auto components factory. On a typical shift you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
