Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Marshall County, Illinois. You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
