Urgent requirement: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Kane County, Illinois. The job is at a busy body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Overtime paid at a premium rate.
