Join our team: we are hiring a cake decorator in Travis County, Texas. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
