Urgent requirement: gang bricklayer (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Limestone County, Texas. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
