Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Mikang, Plateau State. Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain 4+ years on the tools preferred.
