Join our team: we are hiring a carpenter in Potter County, Texas. On a typical shift you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
