Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Johnson County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift The role involves: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Rotating shifts.
