Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
