Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Emuoha, Rivers State. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around ₦95,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
