Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Day-to-day duties: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Part-time with flexible hours.
