Auto painter • Apa, Benue State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an auto painter in Apa, Benue State. The job is in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying Ideal candidate: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Full-time, day shift.
