Finishing plasterer — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Monroe County, Illinois. Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Day to day you will apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush.
