Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Hale County, Texas. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling On a typical shift you will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
