Machine operator (earthworks) • Ika, Akwa Ibom State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Ika, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. On the job you will handle: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Meals and transport allowance provided.
