Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Chenango County, New York. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists You will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet.
