Rough terrain crane operator wanted in Walker County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Walker County, Texas. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day to day you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
