Vacancy available: framing carpenter (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Jackson County, Kansas. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience The role involves cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
